Tom Ka (Tom Kha) - the second most famous Thai soup. Tom Ka comes from the thai ginger - galangal, and translated as "cooked ginger." Classic version is Tom Kha Kai - coconut soup with chicken. Tom Ka is simultaneously sour, salty and a little spicy. Coconut milk gives unique softness.
